Infrared sensor taps operate when the users hands enter the hand washing area and stop operating when the users hands are removed from the hand washing area. The infra-red sensor operation is hygienic because the user never touches the tap, and saves water when the tap automatically shuts off after use.

Infrared sensor operated taps may be more expensive than traditional taps, but for the extra cost they offer better levels of hand hygiene, an enhanced user experience and help conserve the natural water supplies.
Infrared sensor operated taps are ideal for school wash rooms, where they are easy to use by pupils and conserve water. They are the perfect choice for use on stainless steel trough sinks, and will compliment the modern lines of solid surface trough sinks.
We recommend the use of a thermostatic mixer valve (TMV3) on each tap to ensure the hot water is supplied at a safe temperature.
