Hydration In Schools
Children are traditionally more likely to suffer from dehydration than adults because they don't always pay attention to feeling thirsty, so may not always think to have a drink.
Regular access to drinking water throughout the day is important to keep hydration levels up, and intake needs to be spread throughout the day. With half the childs waking hours being spent at school then half the fluid intake should occur during school hours. This puts a large responsibility on schools to ensure adequate facilities are availabe to supply drinking water. Bottle fillers are the perfect solution to allow students to refill bottles, which can be kept with them throughout the day giving constant access to water.
