Bowl urinals offer an alternative to stainless steel trough urinals and are occassionally preferred by schools.

The choice between bowl and trough urinals is really down to personal preference, as well as the overall look and feel you are looking for in your school washrooms. Bowl urinals can afford a greater degree of privacy, but because each bowl needs to be plumbed in separately, they can be costlier to install and maintain than trough urinals. As far as aesthetics go, some people like the look of bowl urinals, others prefer troughs.
